Mercantile is building new credit card products that are specifically designed for these businesses. We’re a lean team spread across North America, making an impact on the way small businesses can save. We’re looking for a full-time Product Manager to join our team and analyze the businesses we support at a granular level. This position reports directly to the CEO and founder and will be an integral part of building Mercantile and it's product from the ground up.

As Product Manager at Mercantile, you will:

  1. Interact daily with Small Business clients and Distribution Partners to collect and analyze their feedback, and organize its implementation into Mercantile's product
  2. Create, groom, prioritize, and implement user stories
  3. Interact with UI / UX teams and engineering to coordinate product builds
  4. Procure and manage different vendors for Mercantile's product offering
  5. Work with Mercantile's founders to implement the product's vision
  6. Work on the product's pricing (fees, APRs, rewards rates, etc)
  7. Manage and monitor Mercantile's customer servicing function

You could be a fit if you have:

  1. High aptitude at coordinating complex projects with multiple stakeholders and timelines
  2. 3+ years of product management experience
  3. Experience building out credit card or other fintech products

Bonus points if you have:

  1. Experience managing vendor RFPs or Procurement
  2. Experience managing customer servicing functions
  3. Experience working with underwriting teams to define APR, grace periods, or other lending product characteristics
