Formic is a venture-backed startup focused on unlocking robotic automation for large, meaningful markets and labor-starved industries such as food and beverage, advanced manufacturing and other industrial settings. We combine financial innovation with a firm understanding of what robotics are capable of, to enable manufacturing customers to scale up their manufacturing capacity quickly and with minimal risk. We plan to deploy $100m of automation solutions into the manufacturing industry over the next 18 months.
This position is an opportunity for an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to work with a team of extraordinarily impressive, bright, focused, and motivated professionals in an environment that encourages and rewards out of the box creativity and entrepreneurial drive.
The successful candidate will leverage an already established market footprint and will develop and implement a sales strategy for the addressable market (small to medium sized factories) in the assigned territory.

The Sales Manager will execute and innovate on our sales processes, including prospecting, lead generation/qualification/follow-up, quote preparation, negotiation and order closing focusing on maximizing value for Formic. The most important skill necessary for this role will be shepherding potential customers through the process and closing deals.
