Folia Health
Folia Health

At Folia Health, our mission is to build a 360-degree view of every patient - to enable better care, better evidence for new therapies, and a more patient-driven healthcare system. So far, we’ve done this by making it simple for individuals to hold a complete view of their health, centered on their own high-resolution, “notebook” observations, in a single, actionable platform that they own and can share. We work alongside pharmaceutical, biotech, and research organizations that rely upon high-resolution evidence to power their operations on both the R&D and commercial sides of the fence.

Our Folia users capture their observations, opt-in to participate in home-based trials and tailored therapy-specific programs, give permission for links to outside data sources like EHRs, and can always view and use a complete set of all the data they’ve ever collected in Folia. In this way, Folia enables individuals to see a clear view of their own progress and contribute to the development of the next generation of medicine - in one place, from their own home. (We like to call this first-of-its kind system a Health - Individual Operating System, or Health - IOS.)

In summary, at Folia, we are enabling precision healthcare, with a little help from the people who care most. We believe patients and their families have the power to transform care.

We are:

  • Female-founded
  • 5 years in business
  • 10K users in rare & autoimmune disease

  • MassChallenge Healthtech Award Winner
  • Part of the Social Starts, Launchpad Angels, and TBD Angels portfolios
  • Backed by a major venture fund

ABOUT the role

As a Program Manager at Folia, your role will be to coordinate programs that harness the power of individual observations to transform the way we diagnose and treat complex disease. As a key member of the growing Folia Research Team, you will manage the nuts and bolts of high-impact programs in therapeutic research, precision diagnostics, and natural history of diseases such as cystic fibrosis, immunodeficiencies, and many other complex conditions. Our Director of Programs will be your direct supervisor, and you will be part of a team of 3-4 program managers doing similar work.

You will be part of a tight-knit, connected team - interfacing with multiple internal Folia departments (Product, Marketing, Sales) to craft the programs and user experiences for our clients. You will also get the opportunity to work directly with Folia users on the app, figuring out the best ways to serve their needs and making direct contributions to how our platform continues to grow and change.

If you believe that the observations of individuals have the power to unlock better healthcare and you’re passionate about the possibility of becoming an integral member of a fast-growing digital health startup with a double bottom-line, you’re probably a good fit.
