ABOUT the role


Fin allows companies to understand how their operational processes run. Customers use this data to improve tooling, processes, and training to help their teams do their best work. Our customers are global food delivery, hospitality, and financial services brands; Fin saves them 3,041,124 minutes a week.

The Console is the core of the Fin product, it's what comes to mind when our customers think of Fin. It provides the context for Fin's analytics and all the controls for configuration and management. The experience of using the Console is make or break for growing Fin.

We're looking for a seasoned product manager who can empathize with customers and gather both qualitative feedback and quantitative data about how customers interact with the product. You should be comfortable tackling a product initiative from specification to launch. We value flexibility and speed in the products we build and are looking for a Product Manager who shares those values.

You will define and lead initiatives to make sure our customers and internal teams get the most out of the Console. You'll do this by thinking through design systems, layout, analytics, notifications, and other features of the Console that define the interface between our internal product teams and our customers. You will collaborate primarily with the Backend Infrastructure and Data Science teams. You'll keep close with our Customer Engineering team to solicit customer feedback and test new features. Alongside the Sales team you'll experiment with product led growth features to shorten sales cycles.

This role will be the first PM on the team and will report to our Head of Product. We're a series A company but the product has over four years of development poured into it and has a breadth and depth beyond what you'd expect. Our product development process is typical for a series A company and you can have a hand in shaping it. Excelling in this role opens up the opportunity to lead a group of product mangers and product designers that own all customer interfaces.

Fin is a remote only company and you will work with colleagues who are mostly within three hours of PST.

ABOUT you


  • Experience independently building and operating a product and team
  • Shipped user experiences with excellent usability
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication
  • You think in systems and can build for internal and external customers
  • Experience working directly with customers and understanding their needs 1:1 and in the aggregate
  • Experience building analytics or big data products.
  • Within three hours of pacific time will enable ideal time overlap with engineering and management team.
  • Desire to own this problem and do whatever it takes to make the product successful.
